Happy Memorial Day!
This weekend marks the unofficial beginning of summer. Whether you’re spending it in your backyard, cheering on your favorite baseball team, or hit the road to travel like so many others.
With pleasant days, cool nights and plenty to do in Prescott, we’ve already seen more guests staying with us here at Watson Lake Inn, the ideal base camp to hike the Granite Dells or launch day trips in the area. This weekend the Phippen Art show takes place in downtown Prescott, and then comes the Prescott Bluegrass Festival, Later this summer there is the 4th of July, as well as the World’s Oldest Rodeo, as well as the Indian Art Market at Sharlot Hall the following week, and these are just a few. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of (the kitchen) Phoenix
Due to its elevation, the city of Prescott experiences cooler temperatures, which means you can enjoy all of the outdoor and in town activities that Prescott is famous for. Enjoy a day at one of the areas lakes, hike or bike part of the nearby new Prescott Circle Trail. And there are many dining spots galleries and antique shops in town. You definitely will enjoy the cooler temperatures if you’re coming up from Phoenix or Tucson, and we would love to see you stay with us here at Watson Lake Inn.
