Food, in our case “Breakfast at Watson Lake Inn” is equally important as are rooms.
It is half the B&B experience, the food is the most important way for us here to demonstrate a warm and stable atmosphere. Stepping up the game with seasonal cuisine by utilizing Arizona grown products, accomplished chef Peter Gebauer often creates spectacular egg dishes and amenities sourced from the inn’s growing network of local producers.
Across the country, bed-and-breakfasts can take many forms, but the one thing that really makes for an amazing experience here at Watson Lake Inn is the food that is being served. At the center of a B&B is the idea of a diverse and educating culinary experience to start the day off right.
Breakfast at Watson Lake Inn consists of a set appetizer (Muesli, granola or fruit) and main course (such as egg & sausage strudel or grits, pork belly and poached eggs) which rotates daily, we offer a both savory and sweet bakery accompanied by our chef made jams and spreads. Most dishes also include our own on premise made cheese such as ricotta, mascarpone, queso blanco or quark.
And as a welcome treat one can expect to find our signature fudge with flavors such as orange-ginger or chipotle & pecan to name a few.
Dinner can be arranged with the chef and may consist of a line up of global tapas, family style or more traditional 3-5 course meal.

Rounding up our food & beverage is the Watson Lake Inn Cooking School, designed to give our guests a kitchen to learn, practice, and have fun in. Our classes are meant to entertain, amuse, and inspire you, giving you confidence no matter what you’re cooking up. Our classes cover a world of cuisines and trendy topics, but if you desire, you can schedule private, customized classes for special occasions from showers to birthdays to company team-building events.
And soon we may have accomplished culinary talent appearing as guest chefs for dinner and/or cooking classes…
