Watson Lake Inn Bed & Breakfast, located minutes from downtown Prescott, provides a secluded ambiance and spectacular views of the Granite Dells, Mingus Mountain, and the San Francisco Peaks in the distance. Experience a unique lodging experience in one of our four suites on property here in Prescott Arizona.
Watson Lake Inn was envisioned by the owners many years ago, but not until 2016 when they discovered this log home, it became a reality. For them it was the perfect location to provide lodging for outdoor enthusiasts and foodies alike; and they purchased the property in 2017.
Watson Lake Inn is a hybrid concept, a Bed & Breakfast Inn combined with a cooking school, located secluded in the Granite Dells near Watson Lake, but close to all the action around Prescott court house square. The Inn is the place for you to enjoy great food prepared with local and seasonal ingredients; exposure to culinary arts, hike and bike the Granite Dells; to honeymoon, celebrate an anniversary or birthday, or just get away for a few days and relax.

The Owners
The Inn is owned and operated by Master Chef Peter Gebauer, AAC, WCMC, GMC, and his wife Aimé.
Chef Gebauer is a seasoned professional with extensive International experience in the hospitality industry, opening new resorts, cruise lines, theme parks and developing food & beverage concepts. During his career he earned many memberships and awards. He is an active member of the American Culinary Federation and recognized as an expert in culinary arts.
Aime Gebauer is a professional administrator with a Bachelor in Organizational Leadership from Marquette University, she has extensive experience in training and administration for the lodging, retail and manufacturing industries in the U.S. and Mexico.
They both met in Cancun, while working for Palace Resorts, Aime’ in food & beverage training and Peter as the Area Executive Chef for the new developments on the Riviera Maya. A couple of years later they moved to Nashville to join Gaylord Opryland Resort… and the rest is history, so they say.

The Cooking School
The Inn is also home of The Culinary Academy, the place where you can learn to have fun in the kitchen.
During his international career, Chef Gebauer developed and managed several culinary programs for companies in the U.S. and Asia; and subsequently published books on progressive culinary training and development of entry level cooks who wish to progress in their career.
The author’s expertise in teaching comes through clearly in the straightforward, well-written descriptions of techniques, ingredients, and culinary terminology. The recipes are appealing, well written, and approachable.
The classes leverage the chef’s experience and are meant to entertain, amuse, and inspire you, giving you the confidence no matter what you’re cooking up. Our classes cover a world of cuisines and trendy topics.
Peter will be offering individual sessions at the cooking school, and will also be offering group cooking class packages. You don’t have to stay at our B&B while taking a class, but we certainly won’t discourage you from doing so if you’d like!
